We spent some time in the South Island at New Year - a week in Queenstown, staying at Frankton, and then a week visiting Manapouri, Invercargill, and Dunedin before we flew home.
One of the highlights was spending New Years Eve at the waterfront in Queenstown - walking from Frankton and then spending an hour or two in an Irish Pub (Pog Mahone's) and then going out to join the crowds to watch the fireworks.
And when the show was all over, we hopped on a bus and went home!
