Zavanna joined us in time to have a starring role in the Hutt Valley High School stage production of Daughters of Heaven. She starred alongside Sarah Rose. The average life span of a female canary is 5 - 6 years and for a male canary, up to 10 years. Zavanna was born in 2001, and lived with us for almost all of her 9 years.
